Emerald Bay is a very private neighborhood in Laguna Beach, California that features Mediterranean style estates that are in the multimillion dollar price range.
Emerald Bay in Laguna Beach is one of the finest beach communities here in Orange County, and probably the most breathtaking in all of Southern California. Emerald Bay has a very Mediterranean feel to it like the south of France, where you will see countless boats parked in the bay in the summer time. The community is strictly prohibited from the general public and entrance is very difficult with no access to Emerald Bay beach by non-residents. The neighborhood features a very private wide beach with multi-million dollars homes surrounding the bay.
Community amenities include tennis courts, a community club house pool, and beach volleyball nets. Along the beach there are beach volleyball nets, tennis courts and a community club house pool. Golf carts are used to get around within the neighborhood, and it even has its own fire station. There are 500 upscale estates here, and the bay houses many luxury yachts. Established in 1929, Emerald Bay was named for the color of the water. Residents can enter from either the east side or from the west off the Pacific Coast Highway.
Emerald Bay is served by the Laguna Beach Unified School District, with highly ranked facilities such as Top of the World Elementary School, Thurston Middle School, and Laguna Beach High School. The city offers several private schools, including Anneliese’s School, Montessori School of Laguna Beach, and St. Catherine of Siena Parish School.
